Art Van is a traveling workshop where we work with interactive art and clay. This last year we have been on tour around Halland, Sweden and offered a drop-in workshop for children and adults to come and sculpt with clay. The Theme for this years project is “Your Dream, Our Future.”
In January 2020 I was on an art residency in South Africa developing the project. Here i worked with children at two different locations. The project provides a platform for children to learn the basic skills of working with clay. We work with materials that are easily accessible and can be collected in nature.
The workshop has previously offered two workshops, one with animation and one with sculpture. Together we made a film and a sculpture in each location.
